My Super Sweet 16 makes me want to throw up. I swear to God if I see another girl crying because her credit card got canceled or because her parents didn't get her the lexus with the leather seats I'm going to implode. IT makes me sick to watch these sheltered children go ape **** over nothing at all. The existence of these people is basiclly meaningless because all they'll most likely ever do is live off of Daddy's monthly paycheck in some beach house in malibu. Whatever happened to people who actually wanted to affect the world and make something of themself rather than live off of Daddy's paycheck. You know sometimes I wish I could have enough money to not work ever again in my life but it would only be worth doing if I made the money myself. There's just something inside me that tells me I have to do something to affect and help somebody somewhere. thumbs down to meaningless members of society.

What is up with today, this moronic paris hilton generation of excess? MTV is guilty as charged for helping give life to this stupid movement. WAKE UP YOUTH OF AMERICA! Seriously I wish people cared about what is going on the world today, and I don't mean how some of these people pretend to care and are simply mindless followers of their favorite bands. Many are not like that, but still. I don't want to have to raise my kids in a worse environment today. Really this same thing happened in the 20's then what happened. The stock market crashed and everyone was forced to face the music and back we went to the ideal blue-collared american worker. The playing field was leveled and the stupid moral degradation faded away. I feel bad for women today because people see Paris Hilton/other sl*tty movie stars and basiclly stereotype all American women. In essence it's the parents job to teach the kids but it seems they're obviously messing up.

A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill

Is it me or is everyone searching for someone who truly adores them? I mean in the sense that they're always complimenting them and bragging about them and etc etc. It doesn't even have to be a bf or gf it could just be a friend. I mean with guys were not really like that about our friends, which is just the way it is nothing to say about that. So is that what a guy wants out of a gf? Pretty much most girls have friends who are like that, well at least that's the way it seems. But seriously I don't think I have ever had a gf who really was like that. I mean all people are different but I don't know I've always thought that would be something great. You can see it some relationships where one is always going on about the other (in a good way) and the other kind of sits back and enjoys it. And you can tell who is in control and how one is always trying to please the other. Can there be a balanced relationship? It's sad to see so many people depressed over little things when they don't look at the bigger picture and all that they have. It just sucks to see how much some people take so much for granted. Emo has become such a trend and bands are making money off of people's sadness and depression, kind of sick. The other day Dr. Green was talking to me about the Great Gatsby and was making an open question about why couldn't Christian writers write something like this book explaining the idle rich and there needless existence. I didn't have an answer at first but I thought about it and after coming home I have an answer. It's all because this man himself experienced this on his own accord. It is also because he was a rich person, without that title he had no standing in his argument.

Life is short...

live, love, be happy.

Rant:

Unconformity: The concept of not conforming to not conform is dumb, because then you're just conforming to something else. The concept of being yourself is way better man.

The Punk Stereotype: "Hey you can't listen to punk! You don't dress hardcore and you don't agree with all of the politcal views!" Funny thing is alot of the Old School punk artists(The Ramones, The Misfits) hold conservative views. Also some people don't listen for the opinion they listen for the music. Dressing hardcore is retarded, be yourself and wear whatever the hell you want to wear.

High School A** Holes: At HCS i never thought I would encounter any, but zip zam gawd da*ned we have a few. I hate it when these self-righteous twits go mess with the kids who don't do anything to ANYONE. The sad thing is most people LIKE these people. They think they're hilarious, hey no skin off my back if he degrades that poor kid who never did crap to hurt anyone. These are the people that cause things to happen like what happened at Columbine. People need to be more aware of who they think is hilarious and who is such a cool guy because he can rip on someone who once again did nothing to anyone. "Bang Bang You're Dead" the movie is a perfect example of what goes on. Though I won't say it is to that extent at HCS, but to a small degree it is.

Ok first off I would like to say, everyone better go to our football games. Ever since I've been at HCS all I've heard is people complaining about how our school didn't have football. Now we do, and we're working our asses off, harder than any team at HCS. Away games I'm not asking everyone to go to, but home games. YES everyone should be there. There are so many different guys on the team you're bound to have one friend on the team, go out and support them. Also, I think some respect should be given to all those who play because being out there in the afternoon in 102 degree weather with full pads is not easy or fun. No one is a pussy on this team, well the one or two of the freshmen are but that's expected, we are so much bigger than them. Come out and support Hillcrest's first ever football team.

ROFLMAO AT DEMOCRAPIC CONVENTION!

OMG Direct quote from John Kerry:

"I will add 40,000 more active duty troops to our military."

Well he's either bringing back the draft or he's lieing. If he's lieing then I laugh at those who believe him. If he brings back the draft I laugh at those who thought Bush was bringing back the draft. Maybe the democrats pushing the draft bills weren't doing it to make it look like Bush was trying to activate the draft. This is really effing hilarious. I garuntee you though that if Kerry is elected Iraq will turn into a Vietnam, because he will tie one hand behind their backs and tell them to fight.

Answer to Chris [Jul. 3rd, 2004|08:58 pm]
Well here goes. I'm ready for a bunch of people to get pissed off but I don't care, as long as Chris isn't pissed. I know Chris will actually listen and take into consideration what I say, that is why I bother.

Chris you have a very valid argument and I commend you for thinking about this.

"GWB defied the UN when he invaded Iraq and went against international opinion. He has cut heath benefits for the elderly. He has been the only US president where all 50 states have simultaneously struggled against bankruptcy."

True he did defy the UN, the answer to that is why. The UN would have wanted to do it a whole other way which would have taken much more time and money. The UN would have set up their own government and alot of bad shit would happen, I don't feel like explaining right now. Really I don't think we should have gone into Iraq, because those people are too ignorant to free themselves. But Saddam was a threat to world peace, he had the missles to hit Israel and Saddam has launched at Israel before and I don't doubt he would do it again. If Israel were attacked, the middle East would break out into war, and we would be there in a second. Many more deaths.

Yes Bush cut health benefits to senior citizens. Remember Chris, we are a Capatilist country. It's not the governments job to take care of the elderly and the poor. That is the charities job and or churches. I know it sounds cold hearted but if you provide to much to every common man there is no motivation to work, and people begin to just sit on their ass and do nothing. It is also way to expensive. Look at the European countries who accepted socialism, they are all bankrupt. It all comes down to what you value, at the end of the day do you want to be putting food on someone else's table while they sit on their ass and don't work?

Well let's look at Clinton's economic plan, he allowed there to be an explosion in economic growth rather than steady growth. By doing so he allowed a short term stimulus on our economy. A year into Bush's term the affects of the explosion wore off. We went right back into a recesion. 1 year is not enough time for a president's economic plan to fully take affect. Clinton had 8 years. The fact that all the states were on the verge of bankruptcy was because of poor governorship, like Davis. He spent, and spent, and spent, and spent. He spent money he didn't even have, created jobs he couldn't support and California went down the tubes.

"He has established the patriot act, which allows the US government to: read your emails, tap your phones, take your picture, and incarcerate you without a warrant and based on suspicion alone. I could go on. This isn’t the best track record for a president thats for sure. In fact it is shit. George W. Bush is a shitty president."

The Patriot act was created to protect all of us, to prevent acts of terrorism like 9/11. Don't like it? Don't whine about the government not knowing about terrorist plans, or stuff like that when or if we get attacked again. GWB is not the best president, and I don't agree with everything he does. He is better than all the other candidates and I agree with him more than I do with all of the others.

"Think about it. America was founded by slave owners that stated: "All men were created equal" All men, except for niggers, indians, and women."

George Washington freed all of his slaves. Not everyone was a slave owner, Ben Franklin started an abolitionist group. Many of the founding fathers were not slave owners. Eventually that issue was dealt with in the civil war. Man is by nature evil, therefore he must change to be good. Big change doesn't happen in a small amount of time with man. It takes time for a big change to happen. Would you say that that there are more civil rights now than then? We have changed for the better and that basis had become true.

As for people talking about the draft, I don't belive Bush is garunteeing a draft. Show me proof that it is garunteed. I really doubt that will happen. If it does, it will be for a good reason. Unless Bush totally changes or does something horrendously stupid. If it does, it is your job as an American to go and serve. Men have fought and died for your freedom believe it or not. This country has also provided you with a great home, a safe and civil place. Don't believe that or like it? Leave, go somewhere else because America is such a shitty place. If you don't like the ideals we were founded on or the common ideals now, leave. If you're constantly saying how good other countries are compared to us, go live there. America was founded a Capitolist Republic, and was meant to stay that way.

As for calling Bush an idiot, that is way out of line. Until you graduate from Yale with a business degree, don't call him an idiot. He is not an idiot. Maybe he makes stupid descisions in your mind, or dumb descisions in your mind, that does not make him an idiot. Maybe you don't agree with him, that doesn't make him an idiot.

Maybe you don't agree with me, but that does not make me an idiot. I don't agree with Chris, but I assure you he is no idiot. That is the problem with politics these days. There is no regard of respect for the other side. The liberals say Bush is evil. When Clinton messed up, we didn't say he was evil. We said things like he was a disgrace to the presidency etc. Because he had an affair IN the White House and lied about it.

Everyone said Reagen was an idiot, he is now regarded as one of the best Presidents ever, the Economy was great under him. He fixed an economy that was destroyed by Carter, who imposed heavy taxes and bankrupted many people. The government isn't our economy, so why should we give all of our money to the government? Do they know how to use our money better than us?
